“Dr. Agtarap and Michelle are always cheerful and friendly. I appreciate the amount of education provided about the situation with my knee and health. Options are always given when something needs to happen. This has been by far the most positive healthcare experience I have had in a long time. I would recommend them without reservation.”

“Dr. Agtarap performed arthroscopic surgery on my left knee several years ago. The knee subsequently developed severe arthritis to the point that I had severe difficulty walking. Dr. Agtarap performed a total knee replacement in April 2015. Within 4 months, I was walking normally without any pain. I have been doing all of my normal activities since then, including playing racquetball three times a week. I am not quite as mobile on the court as I used to be, but that is mostly because I don't want to take any unnecessary chances with my new knee. Dr. Agtarap also rebuilt my right thumb about 10 years ago after I tore it completely out of place and damaged muscles and tendons. The thumb is also in excellent working order. I strongly recommend Dr. Agtarap.”

“I went to Olympia Orthopaedic Associates for a sore knee. Initially, Dr. Agtarap took a conservative approach by administering a steroid shot, but when that didn't fix the problem, he scheduled surgery to correct a torn meniscus in my right knee. He kept me informed at all stages of treatment, and I recovered quickly from the surgery. I am very pleased with the treatment I received, not only from Dr. Agtarap, but also from all the staff I dealt with.”

“It has been 8 months since my knee replacement surgery by Dr. Agtarap and I can truly say that he and his team did a wonderful job! I am now able to walk pain-free; something I haven't been able to do in the last 15 years. In fact, I went to my cardiologist for a stress test and before I knew it I was actually jogging on the treadmill! I haven't been able to do that, either, in 15 years! Thank you, Dr. Agtarap and all at Olympia Orthopaedic Associates - you rock!”

“I was referred to Olympic Orthopedic Associates by my primary doctor due to having knee pain all the time. Nothing relieved the pain. When I first went in, I was rather nervous not knowing what to expect. The staff was rather friendly and helpful. When Dr. Agtarap came in, he greeted me and answered all my questions. He also explained everything that was going on with the information provided. We went with the least evasive process first (cortisone shot). It worked for a short time and had to come back in for a follow up and the next option was to have surgery. The staff again helped me through the process of scheduling the MRI and working with my insurance company. Come to find out, I had a torn meniscus (which is what Dr. Agtarap said to begin with). The days prior to my surgery, I received multiple phone calls from the staff in regards to my procedure. They were always very friendly and helpful in answering your questions and concerns. The day of the surgery, I arrived at the clinic and the nurses were just awesome. Very reassuring, especially with those of us that have never had surgery. The doctors came out and spoke with me and explained what was going to happen, again answering any questions and concerns. A nurse comes and takes me to the operating room. Everyone was very courteous. After surgery, I was taken to the recovery area, where the nurses again were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Agtarap came out and spoke with me, explaining everything that had occurred. The staff made me feel very comfortable and reassured me during the whole process and afterwards. To this day, I only have minor discomfort in my knee (which Dr. Agtarap explained would happen) but it's not painful. I would recommend them to anyone!”

“Dr. A is amazing. Takes time with you and explains everything. He is very caring and knowledgeable. My knee replacement went off without a hitch. I'm two and a half years out. My other knee will eventually need done and I will be back to see Dr. A. The office visits are always very professional from the front desk to the attending nurse. I have recommended Dr. A and Olympia Ortho to others.”

“Dr. Agtarap has checked my left knee and my right knee on several occasions, and he performed surgery on left shoulder, torn (rotor cuff). He is very professional and I am very pleased to have him as one of my doctors.”

“I fell in October 2015 and broke my patella (kneecap) in 8 pieces. I was told this was the worst broken patella he'd ever seen. Dr. Agtarap wired the pieces back together, and I worked hard on physical therapy over the next eleven months. He removed most of the hardware in September 2016, and I am back to walking and bicycling and working out again. I know that without the expertise of Dr. Agtarap and his staff, I would be crippled, unable to walk and carry on a normal life. I am so very thankful for the expertise and caring of Dr. A and PA Carrington Sedgwick over this past year--more thankful than these words could ever convey. Thank you.”
