Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) & X-Ray

Quality care that is convenient for our patients is our priority. If during the course of your visit, the doctor decides an X-ray or MRI is necessary, we have the facilities in our clinics to handle both types of diagnostic imaging.

MRI and Open MRI

At Olympia Orthopaedic Associates, we offer both a traditional (closed) MRI and an Open MRI. With our Open MRI, we are able to accommodate our patients with claustrophobia and still get high quality imaging to get you the best treatment possible.

Our MRI staff is eager to help you get the tests done with ease and comfort and get the results back to the doctor, usually within 24 hours of your test. Often we can schedule same day or next day appointments for your MRI.

What is an MRI?

An MRI uses a magnetic field and radio waves instead of X-ray to display many parts of the body, especially the brain, spine and joints. Your doctor may request an MRI to help diagnose what is happening in your body.
