Jerome Zechmann, MD
Dr. Zechmann has been in practice with Olympia Orthopedic Associates since 1993. He grew up in Olympia, where his dad was one of the founding members of OOA. Dr. Zechmann, and his wife, Cynthia, a professional harpist, have a blended family of five. He loves the outdoors. His hobbies include photography, hiking, skiing and boating.
Dr. Zechmann graduated from the University of Kansas, summa cum laude, with honors. He completed his orthopedic residency at Akron General Medical Center and took over his dad's practice 18 years ago.
Dr. Zechmanns expertise covers many of the orthopedic subspecialties including total joint replacements, sports injuries, shoulder injuries, and fractures. His excellent bedside manner, combined with his surgical expertise, have helped many patients through both minor and difficult injuries. Many of his referrals are from prior patients, who have been very happy with their quality of care and outcomes.
