Gregory D. Byrd, MD
Dr Byrd joins Olympia Orthopaedic Associates after completing his fellowship training in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery. He grew up in the Northwest and is excited to return to the area. In his spare time, Dr. Byrd enjoys the many outdoor activities the region has to offer.
Dr. Byrd graduated from the University of Oregon cum laude with a degree in Biology and Biochemistry. He then went to medical school in St. Louis at Washington University. Upon graduation he returned to the Northwest for his residency training in orthopaedics at Oregon Health and Science University. Dr. Byrd completed his speciality training in hand/upper extremity and microvascular surgery at the Harvard affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
